Clarification for eligibility funding
As detailed in the Childcare Act (2006), childminders are not able to claim funding for their own children, grandchildren or for any member of their family through blood or marriage. This will be actively monitored by Hertfordshire County Council and if there is enough evidence to confirm that funding has been claimed contrary to these regulations, it will be refused and reclaimed if necessary.

We normally offer 15 hours per week which will be either morning or afternoon sessions. We will also be offering some places for 30 hours on the Government free childcare scheme (https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk/). Further information can be found on the Nursery Admissions page on our website (https://wheatcroft.herts.sch.uk/our-school/nursery-admissions/).

Session allocations will be made following acceptance of all places offered. We can not guarantee at this stage that the 15 hour or 30 hour childcare will be offered to all eligible applicants, but we will attempt to meet your needs.
