There are certain mediums we are not currently accepting; however, please continue the application and we will add you to our waiting list. Those mediums are as follows:

Jewelry (of any kind)

Confections and Baked Goods

Soaps/Oils

Woodworking (specifically cutting boards)

(We are also very selective of our crafts as we prefer to present ourselves as a unique art show and less of the run of the mill craft show.)

ABOUT US

The first Artists of the Rust Belt show took place in February of 2009; The Winter Market.

Since then the administration has grown from a group of friends, to a full fledged non-profit that dissolved into a couple of people, and passed on to new administration after 2018 that has one person at the helm and a handful of volunteers/supporters with unwavering support and extremely valued input.

The goal of our shows is to keep our events fresh and interesting as well as appropriate for the type of event, time of year, etc. Each show serves a purpose or has a theme. You can learn more about that on our website.

Our Process

Artists that exhibited the previous year (specific to each show) are invited back and given a deadline to commit

If any spots remain after deadline, the spaces are offered to our whole Artisan database (usually fills the spaces)

If Artisans cannot commit, we go to our waiting list (occasionally happens)

If spaces are still available at this time, we will open up to the public (rarely happens)
