Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and build strong customer relations
- Identify customers' needs and make appropriate product recommendations
- Maintain and enforce store cleanliness
- Educate customers about proper gun care and maintenance
- Maintain awareness and knowledge of trends and emerging technologies relating to the industry
- Provide accurate pricing and sale information
- Resolve customer issues and answer questions
- Up-keep visual presentation standards and department maintenance (e.g., in-store signage, merchandise recovery, restocking)
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related responsibilities as needed
Qualifications
Required
- Extensive experience and knowledge about guns (e.g., makes and models of firearms and scopes, understanding the concepts and practices fo hunting and related activities)
- Strong attention to detail
- Organized and proactive work ethic
- Comfortable approaching and talking to customers
- Problem-solving and logical decision-making mentality
- Able to effectively work with a team
- Effective communication skills
- Previous retail experience is preferred
