Thank you for your commitment to girls and wanting to become a volunteer with Girl Scouts. For the safety of our girls, if you want to volunteer and participate in all the fun things Girl Scouts has to offer - troop events, trips, camping, and more, you must register as a Girl Scout and successfully complete the Criminal Background Check process. Background screenings are required to be updated every three years for any volunteer directly working with girls, handling the troop bank account, or responsible for the troop product sales.

You will receive a link emailed directly from our vendor which contains the instructions for completing the background check, so please be on the lookout for that. Some browsers may place these emails in a Spam, Junk or Promotions folder so be sure to check there.
