Welcome to our 2nd ANNUAL King of The Grill Cookoff and Family Fun Day!
Yes, that's right! If you have the best BBQ, here is your opportunity to show off your skills and let us taste that BBQ!
KING OF THE GRILL GUIDELINES AND RULES
(KOG)
Registration is open from March 01, 2024- May 01, 2024.
I. PARTICIPATION
A. NO ANIMALS ALLOWED. Service animals are acceptable with documentation only.
B. NO ALCOHOL
C. Every contestant must register before the event!
D. Registration fee includes 1 table, 2 chairs, permits, a KOG T-shirt, and an apron.
E. All food must be unopened, prepared, and cooked at the event. Any food not prepared and cooked at the event will not be allowed to participate.
F. KOG participants will be allowed to bring their own.
G. All KOG participants can sell their food to the public after the Competition.
II. EVENT REGISTRATION AND CATEGORIES
A. Early Registration is $250.00 up until April 15-
B. Late Registration is $300.00
C. Each KOG participant must come up with a creative team name.
D. Each KOG participant is allowed to have 3 assistants.
E. Once you register, each KOG participant will be assigned a number.
F. There will be 6 categories. You can register for one or all categories!
I. Create Your Own (your creative dish)
II. Brisket
III. Poultry
IV. Ribs
V. Sausage
VI. Creative Theme
III. COMPETITION TIME AND INFORMATION
There will be five judges. On the day of the event, each participant will meet the judge before the event starts. The Winner of the entire Competition will win a CASH PRIZE.
A. Competition will start promptly at 1:00 pm
I. Poultry - 1:00 pm
II. Sausage and Sauce - 1:20 pm
III. Create your own - 1:30 pm
IV. Ribs - 1:45 pm
V. Brisket - 2:00 pm
VI. Creative Theme - 12:55
B. Crowning Ceremony starts at 2:20
*All participants are expected to be on stage by 2:35 pm
* Winner will be announced at:
I. Poultry - 2:35
II. Sausage and Sauce - 2:40
III. Create your own - 2:45
IV. Ribs - 2:50 pm
V. Brisket - 2:55
VI. Creative Theme - 3:00 pm
The overall winner will be crowned at 3:05 pm
C. Each individual has the capability to independently vend their own food using their own resources and retain the proceeds.

IV. CHECK-IN
Calling all KOG participants! Get ready to roll for check-in at 6:00 pm sharp on May 17, 2024. While we're excited about your early setup on Friday evening, please note that we won't be able to watch over any items left overnight. For those joining us on the big day, check-in by 8:00 am on May 18, 2024, to get in on the action!
V. REFUNDS
Please note that refunds will not be available. In the event of cancellation, we will promptly reschedule the event. Rest assured, all participants of the KOG will receive immediate notification regarding any changes.
