If you register for 4 or more Homeschool classes at one time you can receive a discounted $3 per class price (must be on one registration form.)
The Plant Kingdom March 6th 2-3pm
Did you know that there are over 300,000 species of plants? Homeschoolers will learn about the amazing variety of plant life with a Garden walk.
Plants Fight Back March 13th 2-3pm
Many plants have creative ways to defend themselves with spines, thorns, or even toxins. In this class we’ll learn about some of these incredible plant adaptations and create our own made-up plant with its own set of special defenses.
How Seeds Travel? March 20th 2-3pm
Seeds fly on the wind, float on the water, and catch a ride on fur and shoelaces. In this class we’ll learn how seeds travel and conduct an experiment to model a traveling seed.
Bee Gardens March 27th 2-3 pm
Plant a miniature bee garden starter with four pollinator friendly seeds and learn how bees help flowers grow!
Animal Builders April 3rd 2-3 pm
Nests, hives, webs, burrows, towers and tunnels! Animals are amazing builders. In this class we’ll learn about some of these incredible animal architects and look for animal homes in the Garden.
Flower Press April 17th 2-3 pm
Learn about the parts of a flower and assemble your own flower press to take home.
Plant a Tree for Arbor Day April 24th 2-3 pm
Did you know that some trees can live for thousands of years? Celebrate Arbor Day by planting a tree and enjoy a tree themed scavenger hunt in the Garden.
End of Year Celebration May 1st 2-3 pm
For our last homeschool class of the year, we’ll have cupcakes, meet our animal friends one more time, and enjoy some free time to play science and nature games.
