Hello,
Thank you for your interest in our Equine Assisted Learning Programs (EAL). As a previous volunteer, a certified instructor and someone who took part in the programs myself, I have seen firsthand the positive benefits EAL has on people.
What is Equine Assisted Learning (EAL)?
EAL is a learner-based educational experience where horses are the teachers. It is a life-skills program that fosters individual and team growth. Each week, participants will work in teams and engage in objectively driven ground exercises with a horse. The program encourages learning through positive reinforcement and interaction with horses, promoting self-confidence through validated, hands-on experiences. There is no “right or wrong” way of moving through the exercises, allowing participants to set their own pace.
Each workshop is designed to suit your needs and you can join individually or as part of a group. The workshops are crafted to match your comfort level and provide a chance to reconnect with your inner self. Discover new ways of coping with life experiences through the wisdom of horses.
Please note, these workshops are not meant as therapy but rather as an opportunity to learn about yourself in a unique and supportive environment.
