As a Cape Cod Baseball League and Brewster Whitecaps player, you are held to the leagues Media Policy. Please read the following and acknowledge you will hold yourself to this standard.
PROHIBITED CONDUCT
Players may not engage in the following conduct with respect to the use of Social Media
1. Displaying or transmitting Content that reasonably could be construed as an official public communication of any CCBL Entity without obtaining proper authorization
2. Using photographic, video, or audio Content without providing proper attribution
a. For example: Players posting pictures from their in-game performances on their Social Media should properly tag the team or league photographer
3. Displaying or transmitting Content that contains confidential or proprietary information of any CCBL Entity or anybody affiliated with those entities, including, but not limited to interns, volunteers, trainers, and coaches; including, for example, financial information, medical information, strategic information, etc.
4. Displaying or transmitting Content that questions the impartiality of or otherwise denigrates a Cape League umpire
5. Displaying or transmitting Content that is derogatory or insensitive to individuals based on race, color, ancestory, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, or religion, including, but not limited to slurs, jokes, stereotypes, or other inappropriate remarks
6. Displaying or transmitting Content that is disdainful of any individual related to the CCBL, including, but not limited to interns, volunteers, trainers, fans, and other players
a. This extends to private communication on Social Media, including, but not limited to Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook Direct Messaging
7. Displaying or transmitting Content that is disdainful of any CCBL Entity
8. Displaying or transmitting Content that constitutes harassment of an individual or groupof individuals, or threatens or advocates the use of violence against an individual or group of individuals
9. Displaying or transmitting Content that violates applicable local, state, or federal laws or regulations
