Welcome to the amazing world of Royal Family KIDS Anchorage! Our parent company, For The Children (previously RFK Inc.), is an international organization started in 1985, which provides a loving, week-long camping experience for children who are part of the foster care system. RFK Anchorage is operated with a completely volunteer staff serving over 10,000 volunteer hours each year.
We Need You!

This is where you may come in. Listed below are opportunities to serve these children. RFK needs a tremendous number of volunteers to accommodate the needs of these children. Typically called "camp counselors", we at RFK call them Cousins to keep with the family theme, are paired with another Cousin, and together, they are responsible for four children. This creates their family pod. There are also 2nd cousins, activity center staff, logistics, photography team, Deans of Men and Women, plus many, many other volunteers.

Consider your week of Royal Family KIDS Anchorage as a "missions trip" but you're not boarding a plane. There is pre-camp training, entering an unfamiliar culture and returning home to family and friends. You will experience a flood of emotions and develop wonderful relationships with children and fellow volunteers. It truly is a life changing experience for both the children and for those who participate.
