This form DOES NOT create or renew a Virginia Chess Federation Membership. It is for joining the US Chess Federation or renewing a US Chess membership.

All player information is required. VCF offers VIRGINIANS these slightly reduced US Chess membership rates as a service to our members and patrons. It is an actual US Chess membership.
- For school-age players, we offer 1-year memberships $13, a savings of $7 off the normal $20 price. We can do this because we purchase youth memberships in bulk at $13 each. We make no profit on this, we're not allowed to do so.
- For other 1-year membership categories we offer small discounts off of the normal membership fee. To do this we are simply giving back to you a portion of the $3 reimbursement that US Chess gives to every affiliate (like VCF) who signs up someone for a new or renewed membership.
Note: If you want to purchase the "Chess Life" or "Chess Kids" magazines as part of your membership, you must join US Chess directly through the US Chess Federation (www.uschess.org). Unfortunately, the VCF cannot offer our lower rates along with the magazine option.
