Realm of Bethel

Realm dues are $20 annually. They are due each October but can be paid anytime through the year. They are used for:

• Insurance (liability and participant medical)
• Indoor space rental for winter
• Realm loaner weapons
• Other realm gear and expences
• Upfront costs for the events we host

Our rules are pretty simple:

• Don't do things that are unsafe
• Obey Marshall's orders on the field (we often have a small fighting field that is non- marshalled- in this case realm leaders are the acting marshall.)
• Follow the rules in the Book of War
• Respect others property and person
• Be kind
• Keep language PG 
• Communicate on the field
• Help welcome new fighters
• Have honor (take that light shot)
• Hit hard, fight hard, have fun. 

Highland Fighter Compact & Realm of Bethel Fighter Waiver
In consideration of receiving permission from the Highland Fighter Compact and the Realm of Bethel Medieval Re-creation Society to participate as a member of the Highland Fighter Compact and to participate in any activity, event, tournament, contest or meeting that the Highland Fighter Compact or the Realm of Bethel participates, sponsors, attends, or supervises, the Undersigned releases Highland Fighter Compact, Realm of Bethel, the City of Rexburg, the owner of any premises where any Highland Fighter Compact or Realm of Bethel activity, event, tournament, contest or meeting occurs, and any other member of the Highland Fighter Compact or Realm of Bethel, individually, from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including illness or death, that may be sustained by the Undersigned, or any property of the Undersigned, while participating in any activity, event, tournament, contest or meeting that the Highland Fighter Compact or Belegarth Realm of Bethel participates, sponsors, attends or supervises.
The Undersigned being duly aware of the risks and hazards inherent upon participating in any activity, event, tournament, contest or meeting of the Highland Fighter Compact or Realm of Bethel, elects voluntarily to participate, knowing that participation requires physical contact by others to the person of the Undersigned and knowing that such participation may become hazardous and dangerous during the time that the Undersigned voluntarily assumes all risks of loss, damage, or injury, including disease or death, that may be sustained by the Undersigned, or any property of the Undersigned while participating in any activity, event, tournament, contest, or meeting that the Highland Fighter Compact or Realm of Bethel participates, sponsors, attends or supervises.
This release shall be binding upon the distributors, heirs, next of kin, executors, and administrators of the Undersigned.
In signing the foregoing release, the Undersigned acknowledges and represents:
1. That he or she has read the above release, understands it, and signs voluntarily;
2. That he or she is over 18 years of age and of sound mind;
3. If under 18 parent or guardian has read and agrees to this waiver;
4. Undersigned represents that he or she has no physical or mental defects known to the Undersigned and unknown to the appropriate representative of the Highland Fighter Compact and Realm of Bethel that would endanger or harm the Undersigned while participating in any activity, event, tournament, contest or meeting that the Highland Fighter Compact and Realm of Bethel participates, sponsors, attends, or supervises.
