About the exhibition
“Here and Elsewhere” is a media art exhibition featuring works dealing with the transition and (dis)connection between the intimate, urban, and virtual spaces. Video, photography, web-based, interactive artwork and mixed media expand on how we try not just to survive and inhabit but to fully belong and blend with a space.
Nine artists from six different countries, Mexico, Poland, Peru, Colombia, Denmark and El Salvador join a conversation about the inhabitation of urban and virtual spaces, the result of this diverse proposals can be visited from January 18 to 22, at Art_Inkubator, a creative center located in an old factory building in the city of Lodz, Poland.

The exhibition “Here and Elsewhere” is part of the (Dis)Connect Media Art Festival Łódź and co-produced by the Erasmus Mundus Excellence Joint Master’s Programme Media Arts Cultures and Art_Inkubator in association with the University of Łódź.
