  • Peer-to-Peer Delivery

The peer-to-peer delivery requirement is an essential element of The Carbon Literacy Standard. This section is to ensure the training you deliver would meet this requirement.
  • Trainer Requirements

  • As of October 2023, to deliver Carbon Literacy training we require the trainer to be Carbon Literate themselves, and to have attended a free 90 minute Delivering Successful Carbon Literacy Workshop (DSCL).

We also recommend that trainers become accredited as a Carbon Literacy Facilitator (CLF). This is a free accreditation which demonstrates a proficiency in delivering Carbon Literacy training.

Further to this, we encourage trainers to continue through the stages of trainer accreditation to become a certified Carbon Literacy Trainer (CLT).

The Delivering Successful Carbon Literacy workshops cover training tips, what we expect from pledges, our certification process and our Trainer Accreditation pathway.

You can register for a Delivering Successful Carbon Literacy workshop via our events page.

There is more information on our website about the trainer accreditation scheme.

    Note
If you are an existing trainer, and have been delivering Carbon Literacy training for some time without meeting these requirements, we do not want to prevent you from training. Therefore, we are providing a grace period until February 2024 for existing trainers to attend a Delivering Successful Carbon Literacy Workshop.

If you have any questions on the above, please contact us at clt@carbonliteracy.com.
