If you have any holes or delamination in the area around the toe or if this is a second resole, you're going to need rands. I do my best to skip rands when/if I can. But usually shoes need rands for a variety of reasons. If I send an estimate with rands priced in, then you will definitely need them. Click here for more information on rubber and resoling.
