Dear Scholarship Applicant,

Congratulations on your upcoming graduation or continuing education! The members of Plano West Rotary Club (PWRC) know that you are approaching this milestone with great anticipation of taking the next step in your life and career. We wish you the best as you take that step.

One of the many activities that PWRC undertakes each year in serving our community is to assist Plano seniors, single parents, and current college students in continuing their education by awarding six (6) - one thousand dollar ($1,000.00) scholarships. This scholarship can be for technical or collegiate education.

In order to apply, it is necessary for you to submit this application by midnight on Friday, May 5, 2023. You are required to include two (2) letters of recommendation on community service and/or leadership.

Our scholarship committee will evaluate all applications and finalists will be selected for interviews with the committee, which will take place on May 27, 2023. This may be virtual over ZOOM.

This scholarship is awarded over three main areas: Leadership, Community Service, and Need. This is not an academic based only scholarship.
