High School Senior Application
REQUIREMENTS FOR

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY CATTLEWOMENS SCHOLARSHIP

A scholarship award up to the amount of $1,500 will be awarded to the best applicant(s)

The scholarship committee of SBCCW will select the winning applicant(s)

The applicant must submit one current photo of self and beef animal(s)

Applicant must:

Be a senior attending a high school in Santa Barbara County
Must fulfill entrance requirements of an accredited college or university of his/her choice
Have had involvement with the beef industry in some way.
Must enroll as a full-time student with a minimum of 12 units.
Must have a purposeful Educational Goal.
Must hand write a minimum 300 word essay explaining why we should consider them for this scholarship, how they plan on using the funds, and what their plans are for the future. Please also include what you have done to contribute to your college fund, Essay must be titled, dated and signed with applicants's legible signature.
Please include : Two Letters of Recommendation from non-family members. One must be from a Teacher or Beef Project Leader.

All applications and supporting information become the property of SBCCW, which shall have the discretionary authority in all matters pertaining to this award.

A copy of your Sealed Transcripts must be included with your application.

A Completed application, sealed transcript and letters marked no later than

APRIL 1st.
