Volunteer Opportunities
Carnegie Art offers a variety of rewarding opportunities to support the museum as a volunteer. Teens (ages 16+), college students, and adults of all ages may volunteer for several defined categories and projects, including the Youth Art Initiative, Docent Corps, and special opportunities to assist with research or programs.
Paid Internships at the Museums
Intern with Carnegie Museums to gain hands-on experience and professional learning! Limited internships and other experiential learning opportunities are available at all four museums. Internships are posted throughout the year as they become available. Before You Apply: Some internships are offered as work-study postions and require applicants to qualify for the Federal Work-Study (FWS) Program through FAFSA and their partnering academic institution’s financial aid office.
