Meeting Space and Catering Request Application for 2023
Organizations requesting meeting room space only will be billed for a room rental fee of $500.00.

Organizations who are requesting a meeting space with food and beverage will not not be charged a room rental fee. However, organizations requesting food and beverage will need to purchase a mimumum $500.00 or more in food and beverage catering. All food and beverage catering will be provided by the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center. No outside food or beverage will be permitted.

A link to the official catering menu from the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center is provided below. Once your application has been received and reviewed, a representative from the TMEA Conference will reach out to you to place your food and beverage catering order.

Although the TMEA Conference Chairs will strive to accommodate your preferred meeting date and time, TMEA cannot guarantee specific date/time requests. Dates and times for meetings and receptions will ultimately be determined based upon space and scheduling availability.

Requests for food and beverage, meetings, and receptions held during the TMEA Professional Development Conference must be submitted to TMEA and will be approved by the TMEA Board of Directors and Conference Management Project Chairs.

While TMEA will make every reasonable effort to grant requests with regards to space, it is possible that your request may be put on a waiting list until space becomes available. Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center typically frees up unused space from conventions about 1-2 months from the TMEA Professional Development Conference.

All rooms will be assigned at Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center. TMEA will work with the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center to assign your space. Once you are notified of the assignment, you will be responsible for all preparations and charges related to your event. TMEA will invoice the responsible parties at the conclusion of the conference.
