The Youth Action Board (YAB) is a group youth and young adults between the ages of 17-25 with lived experience of homelessness. Starting in March, selected YAB Members will meet weekly, to discuss opinions, make recommendations, and take action related to the redesign of the youth homelessness system.  YAB members will receive leadership and professional development training, as well as supportive services, to help them prepare and build confidence in working alongside government officials and non profit agencies.   YAB members will be compensated $32.50 per hour, for up to 10 hours of work a week, and can be paid through their choice of direct deposit, gift card, or check. Members are expected to attend and actively participate in 4 meetings a month.
