• Sustainable Fashion Survey

Fast fashion is everything that sustainable fashion isn’t!  It is second only to the oil industry in terms of waste production in the world. Globally, textile waste totals 13,000,0000 kilograms (1300 crore) every year, 95% of which could be recycled or reused. The amount of waste per person is roughly 32 kg and that is just the tip of the iceberg. Among other unethical practices, fast fashion is characterized by low wages, long hours, unsafe working conditions and even physical assault in some cases.
