Taskforce Objectives
Define the utility & impact of personality assessment and communicate its value. Some specific tactics have already been identified by staff and Leadership, and this taskforce creates an additional opportunity for members to help advance the vision and mission of SPA by developing and supporting initiatives related to this tactic. Specific responsibilities of this taskforce will include evaluating the grant proposals submitted for the one-time Utility and Impact of Assessment Grant, developing online programs related to this topic, identifying relevant articles and resources to be posted on the SPA website, and discussing the potential concept of a special issue dedicated to this topic.
Taskforce Composition
The following is an overview of the total taskforce composition for the 2023 year:
- SPA President-Elect
- SPA Board Member-at-Large
- JPA Journal Editor
- Diversity and Social Justice Committee Member
- Up to three at-large members, as selected by the board members on the taskforce and approved by the SPA Board of Trustees. At-large membership should be inclusive of SPA members, including Fellows, practitioners, early-career members, and students.
Members on Taskforce are ineligible to apply for the grant.
