  • Nomination Criteria

    Nominees are lay people in the Episcopal Church in Idaho who exemplify through their mission and ministry the call to be the hands and heart of Jesus in the world. Their project, mission or ministry shall demonstrate a creative or innovative impact within their parish and community.

    Applications are due February 3. All applications will be reviewed by the Recognitions Committee. The Excellence in Mission candidate will be notified of his or her acceptance by the Executive Director. All nominees and the nominators will receive notification in writing.

    Thank you for your interest in identifying the individuals within the Diocese that exemplify the Godly work being done on behalf of the Episcopal community.

  • Required Materials

    To complete the nomination, please provide:

    • Completed nomination form by February 3, 2023
    • A clear description within this form (or in an additional letter) of the impact the project and this individual has had on the parish and community.
    • Two letters of recommendation (or more) from individuals involved within the project and/or participants in the project
    • Photos/Articles etc. included with nomination

  • In order to be considered, nominess must be:

    • Age 16 years or older
    • Members in good standing in their parish (If the nominee is also employed in the project, mission, or ministry include a current job description.)
    • Instrumental in an innovative project that supports the mission and ministries of the Episcopal Church
    • Demonstrating a positive impact on the parish and/or community
    • Able to attend the Bishop’s Banquet April 22, 2023
    • Willing and able to provide a short presentation on their project
  • Should be Empty:
