Additional Rates & Rate Info:
* A Contract/Agreement is required for any and all day-of Union Celebration services. Previews are highly recommended, but not required for each Service to ensure the special day goes as smoothly as possible.
* There is no minimum for in salon or on location Union Celebration services at this time.
* Union Celebration Retainer --- 50% of one or both of the Soon-to-be-Partner(s) $Service Total paid via a Square invoice emailed to you; this Retainer will be applied to your full Service(s) total; Retainer is non-refundable under ALL circumstances
* Travel Rate/Day-Of Travel Rate for all on location services --- 65.5 cents/mile round trip via any ground transportation method starting from my salon location(505 Hull Street Richmond, VA 23224) to your Service Location or one location to another as requested + ANY planned/unplanned transportation fees incurred round trip (like parking fees or tolls, etc) + any overnight hotel stay accommodations before your Union Celebration. (A hotel stay is required if 1 AND 2 apply: 1- the Service Location is 3 hours or more away from my salon location, 2- a Start Time before 8am local time is requested. Additional night will be required the evening of the Union Celebration if more Services or Touchups are requested.) Airfare travel rates are TBD.
* Additional Artist(s)/hair or makeup service --- This rate will be whatever the Additional Artist(s) currently charges for each service when doing services on their own; This rate will be calculated and added to the pre-calculated service total given to the Contract Signer if more services are added and timeline adjustments are not able to efficiently handle the added services.
* Touch-ups Rate --- $60/hr + Any Other Applicable Rates if requested to stay on location/travel to another location for any hair or makeup touchups
* Service Delay Rate --- $5 per 5 minutes owed by the Soon-to-be-Partner/Contract Signer once a new person is ready to be serviced; for anyone running late who was scheduled to have services done based on the timeline allotment created with the Contract Signer and Leilani and Leilani has finised all other services
* Major Holidays (New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas; also including the day before any of these days and the day after any of these days) --- $250 + Any Other Applicable Rates
* Early Bird Fee Rate --- $50 For any start time before 8am; will be added to the Soon-to-be-Partner's $Service Total due 7 days before the Union Celebration Date if the requested time change can be accommodated.
* Last Minute Blowdrying Rate --- $50 1hr. Due to Leilani by the person receiving Services IF time allows for anyone who requires any assistance with getting "Ready & Prepped" in order to complete their requested Service(s); applies if hair is not immediately ready for the style result someone is wanting to achieve (Examples: air that is wet, damp, frizzy, wavy or curly from being braided/twisted/left to dry naturally).
* Extension installation and styling will be granted IF time allows for anyone who does not pre-schedule or pre-request this. Extension Work pricing is $30 per 1 set of 7-10 clip-in pieces or 1 halo extension row. Additional extensions will incur additional $30 cost per 1 set of clip-in pieces or 1 halo extension row. If someone has any other extension type already installed(like a sewn-in beaded method, keratin tips, tapes, etc), the Extension Work rate will be incurred per row of extensions they have installed. Please inform me ahead of time via email ( leilanigrayhairstylist@gmail.com ) if extensions will be used with anyone/anyone has extensions so Leilani can plan for that in the Service time allowance. Please email Leilani if you need clip-in or halo extension recommendations.
* Last minute service requests by ANY person(s) on the day of the Union Celebration are NOT guaranteed, and will only be granted by Leilani if time allows based on the Soon-to-be-Partner's Service time allowance.
* Gratuities are welcome on the day of event since they are not included in any Union Celebration Service prices. Gratuities may be given to Leilani from anyone receiving Services in cash, Square invoice, PayPal ( leilanigrayhairstylist@gmail.com ), Venmo ( @LeilaniKilolo ), or Cash App ( $LeilaniKilolo ).
* The remaining $Service Balance Total of pre-scheduled services for you (and your Soon-to-be-Partner if this applies) + all applicable rates/fees other than your Celebration Attendant services will be due 7 days before your Union Celebration Date to prevent any stress or confusion on your special day. The complete balance will be due via an invoice sent by Leilani to you, the Soon-to-be-Partner/Contract Signer. The invoice will be sent between 15 and 30 days before the Union Celebration Date so that you will have it ahead of the due date. For each day a Union Celebration service invoice is unpaid, a Late Payment Rate of $5 will be incurred and added to the invoice.
* Each Celebration Attendant/person receiving Union Celebration Services is individually responsible to pay for their own pre-scheduled Union Celebration Service(s) and last minute day-of Union Celebration Services.
* Previews are available to be scheduled Monday - Thursday from 10am-4pm EST. Other days(Fri., Sat., Sun., and major holidays) may be requested, but those requests are not guaranteed and will be charged at a Premium Rate + Major Holiday Rate if that second rate applies and that day/time request is approved.
* In Leilani's experience, money transactions and final vendor payments can be very inconvenient the day of and payments can get mismanaged during the commotion of the celebration day prep. Therefore, each person receiving services in your Union Celebration must complete a Union Celebration Guest Information Form so that Leilani can pre-create Square invoices for each person based on the Service(s) you list them for below. The day-of service invoice(s) are due to be paid virtually or in person by Leilani swiping their card on the same date as the Union Celebration Date. For each day a Union Celebration services invoice is unpaid, a Late Payment Rate of $5 will be incurred and added to the invoice.
*The Union Celebration Guest Information Form will also: 1- make each person aware of the "Ready & Prepped" Info so you don't have to worry about who you told what to as far as style prep and 2- make each person aware of the Day-Of notices that apply to them, and 3- has each person list any allergies and/or sensitivities that they may have. You can view the Form here: https://bit.ly/ucgifwleilani If there are persons/people who cannot complete the form(if they don't have a smartphone/computer or are a minor who's parent is a Celebration Attendant, please complete the form for them if at all possible. You personally(the Soon-to-be-Partner/Contract Signer) DO NOT need to complete this Form because those questions and details are included in this Contract/Agreement. A Union Celebration Guest Information Form must be completed by each person receiving services on the Union Celebration Date. If there is a minor scheduled to receive services, a parent/legal guardian must complete the form.
* Touch up kits - The Soon-to-be-Partner(s) will receive a customized, complimentary deluxe Touch Up Kit(s) on the Union Celebration Date from me. Leilani's go-to Standard Touch Up Kits or Gift Ideas for Celebration Attendants/Celebration Attendees are available for purchase at https://bit.ly/LeilaniKilolowithLimeLife . For ideas of how to customize the options available, ask Leilani via email.
Etiquette:
* Leilani works to be as clear, open, and responsive via email as she can be during this entire experience with you while still also servicing salon clients in salon during the week. Leilani will get back to any emails/voicemails/texts ASAP within 24 business hours, Monday-Saturday.
* If you, the Soon-to-be-Partner, or your Celebration members have a specific hair or makeup look they would like, please email those inspiration photos to Leilani at leilanigrayhairstylist@gmail.com .
* Leilani does create a service schedule/itinerary coordinated with the Soon-to-bo-Partner(s), your Photographer, and/or Wedding Coordinator to help her and you prepare for your day. In Leilani's experience though, a service schedule/itinerary sometimes does go unused in the hustle and bustle on the special day. Please have each person needing services Ready & Prepped at the Service Location by the time you want services to start. This ensures Leilani can work efficiently, usually with Leilani finishing before or on the time all services must be completed.
* For all on location services, Leilani does have her own tools to create a mini styling area if needed, yet please provide balanced lighting, sturdy chairs, large tables, and reliable electrical outlets on the Union Celebration Day.
* If you would like to have quiet alone time when you are having your services done as one of the Soon-to-be-Partners, please let me know, and with your Alternate Contact, we can work adjust the timeline/schedule to accommodate you by having other Celebration Attendants move to another area of your Service Location.
* Due to the nature of the current times that we are in, Leilani will be wearing her mask as much as possible during all services.
* To keep communication seamless between you and Leilani, all communication about your special day will be handled and/or summarized via email. You will be sent Leilani's business cell number with you before the virtual consultation or at your Preview. If you do not request a virtual consultation or Preview, Leilani will share her business cell phone number with you 48-72 hours before the Union Celebration event for the instances when you or Leilani need to get in touch with each other last minute, in the spur of the moment.
Cancellation/Adjustment Info:
* If the timeline Leilani creates with you and/or your Alternate Contact needs to be modified and cut shorter after this Contract/Agreement is submitted, Leilani will do her best to accommodate you by emailing you recommended suggestions to streamline the hair and makeup looks to trim down Service Timing. If the hair and makeup looks are not allowed to be streamlined and/or Service Timing cannot be cut, Leilani will need to bring in an additional artist(s) to assist her. If this becomes the chosen plan, Leilani will contact those on her list of other local artists and other artists to contact for emergency assistance who are equal to Leilani's skillset or better. The Additional Artist(s) rate will then be charged per service they do on the Union Celebration Day.
* Leilani will always do her best to work with you in case of sickness or emergencies, because she does understand that issues come up unexpectedly. If you request any in-salon services and opt to receive appointment reminders, they are sent via text and email from my salon 24-72 hours prior to your appointment. No-Show Cancellation: Absent from your scheduled appointment with no notice. Late Cancellation: Cancelling or rescheduling your salon appointment with a notice of 24 hours or less before your scheduled appointment. Upcoming salon appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled 24/7/365 online by signing in to your online account with the online booking link. If you are a Late Salon Cancellation, a 50% rebooking fee would be incurred and must be paid before another appointment can be requested. If you are a No-Show Salon Cancellation, a 100% rebooking fee would be incurred and must be paid before another appointment can be requested.
*If Leilani becomes unable to service your wedding due to sickness or an emergency, Leilani will contact those on her list of other local artists and other artists to contact for emergency assistance who are equal to Leilani's skillset or better. No other payments will be owed by you to Leilani for this inconvenience. Leilani will email you and/or call you about what's going on and then contact them first to see who is available and handle coordination the bulk of the changes that need to happen.
* This Union Celebration Contract/Agreement may be modified to add OR remove services by the Contract Signer up to 30 days before the Union Celebration Date. If Leilani is able to accommodate requested changes of added services, and/or additional artists are secured for the Union Celebration Date, the established timeline will be updated. If service(s) are removed and/or person(s) decide to drop out, the Contract Signer may replace that/those person's service(s) with someone else to avoid a fee. Any Contract/Agreement changes must be requested via email to leilanigrayhairstylist@gmail.com. Should you or someone drop out of your Contract/Agreement early without you, the Contract Signer, replacing the service(s) with another person, there will be a 50% Late Cancellation fee per pre-scheduled service owed by the Soon-to-be Partner/Contract Signer.
* This Union Celebration Contract/Agreement may be voided by the Contract Signer up to 30 days before the Union Celebration Date with no others rates owed and with no Retainer refund. The Soon-to-be-Partner/Contract Signer and Alternate Contact will be the final contact people for any questions or changes about this.
* If this Contract/Agreement is being completed between 1 and 30 days before your Union Celebration Date, all details you submit are locked in and considered as final as if this was completed months in advance of your special day.
* Once this completed Union Celebration Contract/Agreement and a Union Celebration Retainer are received, your Union Celebration Date, all requested services, all applicable Additional Rates, and all other details in this Contract/Agreement are locked in and considered as final.
