  • About 2023 Garden Kits

    Edible Flint’s Garden Starters Program prepares kits that include seeds, transplants, and information to grow a garden designed for an individual's garden plans. The mission of Edible Flint is ​to support community residents in growing and accessing healthy food in order to reconnect with the land and each other. Please note:  Kits are available for Genesee County Residents Only.

    You can order garden kits with Cash, Check, Debit/Credit Card, and EBT/Bridge Card. You can order compost with Cash, Check, and Debit/Credit Card.

    Kitchen Garden Kit 

    ($12 each or 2 for $20)

    •19 transplants
    •4 seed varieties
    •For gardens approximately 500 square feet

  • DISTRIBUTION DAY – Saturday, May 20th  11:30 AM -5:00 PM

    All kits and compost must be picked up on Distribution Day on Saturday, May 20th in the parking lot of the Neighborhood Engagement Hub, which is located at 3216 M.L. King Ave. Flint, MI  48505.  In early May, you will receive a reminder from Edible Flint about your scheduled pick-up time.  If you have questions on Distribution Day, please call 810-348-5332.
