DESCRIPTION: Please give us a brief summary of your true, first-person story, making it clear how your story incorporates the theme even loosely.
*
AVAILABILITY: If my story is chosen, I am fully prepared and excited to first take part in a 2-hour rehearsal over Zoom @ 3 weeks prior to the show plus perform my story live on stage at Murphy's Irish Pub in Alexandria, VA. I understand that I need to be open to the rehearsal feedback process and able to be in VA for the run of the show from 7:30 - 9:30 pm.
Yes! I can make the live show and I welcome the rehearsal feedback process!
Nope, I'm pitching from Guam, thinking the show was online. Never mind.
EXPERIENCE LEVEL:
This will be my first time performing a story! I'm a true storytelling virgin.
This is my first time performing a story in the DMV, but I've told elsewhere.
I've performed stories a few times now. You could say I've caught the bug.
I've got 5 or more story performances under my belt. I'm a regular pro.
I understand that my story must incorporate the theme at least loosely and be a true, first-person story narrative, meaning about something that really happened to me, and that I need to be able to perform it in approximately 8 minutes or less.
*
Gotcha! True narrative that fits the theme and happened to me in about 8 mins!
What? I've got a fictional story from my cat's point of view. Never mind.
I will send you a response to your pitch no later than 3 weeks prior to the show date. Feel free to ask any Qs below or via email to StoryExtremeQueen@gmail.com. Thank you for your interest in performing with us! --Stephanie
