1- Letter of Intent: state your artistic goals for the Sonoma Ceramics residency program and how this specific residency is important for your artistic pursuits at this particular point in time. Consider location, community, facilities, your goals, etc. in 300 words or less.
1a. If willing to answer (not required); does your ability to attend artist residencies depend on their provision of financial support through monetary stipend and / or provided housing?
2a. Given the ever changing situation caused by COVID-19: Do you have a flexible start date? Are you comfortable adapting to a changing work environment (i.e. the potential for in person programming shut downs, changing safety guidelines and protocols, etc.) Will you comply with local and state health laws? We require all staff members and studio users to be vaccinated or wiling to take weekly covid tests.
2- Biography: tell us about yourself and professional accomplishments in 100 words or less.
3- Artist Statement: describe your work, concept, and practice in 300 words or less.
4- Resume/CV: Include applicable skills and experience in terms of studio management, maintenance, outreach, community involvement, teaching, etc.
5- References: Contact information for 3 professional references who can speak to your qualifications and potentials as a resident. List name, phone number, email address, and affiliation.
