The SouthernTech Career Expo will be held from 8:00am-4:00pm in the Southern Tech Aviation Technology Building. Approximately 700 secondary and post-secondary students from 23 SouthernTech Programs and area high schools will be in attendance.
SouthernTech is excited to also invite all employer representatives to attend our first campus-wide Advisory Meeting which will be held in conjunction with the Career Expo from 11:00-1:00 in Building 100, Conference Room A. Lunch will be provided for employers at the meeting location. Dr. Ward, SouthernTech Superintendent, will provide an update concerning programs and services being offered on our campus, and employer partners will have opportunities to ask questions and learn more about how SouthernTech can support their businesses.
Registration:
Early-bird Registration Fee: $25 – must submit registration by March 15, 2024
Regular Registration Fee: $50 – registrations received March 16 or thereafter
Registration includes 1, 2’x5’ table along with 2 chairs for each employer. A hospitality room will be available for employer representatives and will include a grab-and-go breakfast along with drinks and afternoon snacks. Lunch will also be provided by Southern Tech in Conference Room A of the Building 100.
Setup:
Early Setup is available from 1:00pm to 4:00pm on Thursday, April 25.
Event-day setup will begin at 6:00am on Friday, April 26. Employers are encouraged to be set up by 7:30am and it is greatly appreciated that all employers stay through 4:00pm in order to ensure that all students have an opportunity to meet with every employer.
