If you would like your child to attend TeaRex on a regular basis please complete the form below indicating which days you require. Please note, once sessions have been allocated it will be difficult to make changes as availability will be dependent upon spaces, numbers and staffing ratios, therefore sessions booked are non-refundable and will be added to the term’s fees.
If you have applied for your child to attend clubs, once you know which clubs your child has got into, please apply for TeaRex places as soon as possible thereafter. You will only be contacted if we cannot offer you the sessions you requested, and you will be placed on a waiting list.
If you wish to discontinue or alter your sessions, we require a half term’s notice in writing.
It is possible to do ad hoc sessions (subject to availability) at an additional cost, although a day’s notice is required. Ad hoc bookings should be made by emailing TeaRex on (tearex@lingfieldcollege.co.uk).

The Club is committed to the children having fun and relaxing through a variety of activities they can choose from. Children can be active outside, be creative, watch TV and play with a range of games and construction toys. The children will be provided with a tea.
A free Study Club will continue to be offered separately until 5pm on a more flexible basis to pupils in Years 4, 5 and 6. We would encourage these year groups to take advantage of this before attending TeaRex. If your child is going straight from Study Club to TeaRex, you will pay the After Clubs Session fee, which includes a packed tea.
Main Session
Children attending TeaRex will be sent to Orchard Lodge (KS1 children will be escorted by a member of staff).
Children should be collected from TeaRex by 5.30pm at the latest, otherwise the Extended Session will apply. Your child may join TeaRex after an after-school club, however the charge will still apply as the space will have been allocated for them.
Extended Session
This session follows on from the Main session and is for those children who are staying to the end of TeaRex (6.15pm).
After Clubs Session
If your child attends a club, they will be collected from their club and taken to TeaRex. They will be provided with a packed tea.
Children must be collected at the respective finish times otherwise a £20 fee will be applied to fees for late collection.
We always endeavour to ensure your child is safe and secure during the club session. It is essential for safeguarding purposes that you notify us if your child is not attending, so we can mark them absent on the register. We will use the school password system to make certain your child is collected by the correct person if you are unable to do so. Please ensure the person collecting your child knows the password that you have provided to the school and that they sign your child out. If your child is attending a fixture on behalf of the school and is booked in as a regular user, you do not need to notify us (as the TeaRex Administrator will amend the register accordingly).
Note: If a child is continually disruptive at TeaRex, then the school reserves the right to cancel their attendance at the club.
