  • New Vendors Only: If you have been a vendor elsewhere, please provide that information below.

  • The cost to rent each 10x10 ft. stall is $10 per week for produce vendors and $20 per week all other vendors. Vendors may pay in cash or write a check payable to HOPE Village Revitalization. Payments are due prior to the opening of the market every Wednesday.

    Alternatively, market vendors receive a 10% discount by paying stall rental fees in two installments, cash or check payable to HOPE Village Revitalization. Payments are due on June 1 and August 1. Market vendors receive a 20% discount by paying for the entire season in one lump sum on June 1.   If you wish to pay online  you can submit your payment via this link.

    Each vendor must meet briefly with a HOPE Village Revitalization representative prior to his or her initial participation in the market, to review market rules and regulations and to sign the food assistance agreements and receive their Vendor Sales Record forms.

     

  • MARKET RULES AND REGULATIONS: I have reviewed a copy of the 2023 HOPE Village Farmers Market Handbook and agree to abide by the Rules and Regulations contained therein.I understand that failure to abide by the market rules may result in termination of my participation in the market at any time.

    ITEMS FOR SALE: I agree to offer for sale only those items listed above; additional items may be added with prior approval in writing by HOPE Village Revitalization.

    VENDOR INDEMNIFICATION: By signing this agreement, Vendor covenants and agrees to protect, indemnify and save HOPE Village Revitalization and its officers, directors, agents, staff and employees (each an "Indemnified Party") harmless from and against all liability, obligations, claims, damages, penalties, causes of action, costs and expenses, including attorneys' fees, imposed upon, incurred by or asserted against any of the Indemnified Parties by reason of any accident, injury to or death of any person or loss of or damage to any property caused by: (a) any act or omission of Vendor or Vendor's officers, employees, agents, or of anyone claiming by, through or under Vendor; (b) the failure or misuse of any equipment, tools, tables, packaging, or other items owned or used by the Vendor or Vendor's officers, employees, agents, or anyone claiming by, through or under Vendor; (c) any failure on the part of Vendor or Vendor's officers, employees, agents to perform or comply with any of the provisions, covenants, rules, duties, agreements, or requirements of this Agreement; (d) any violation of any applicable law, ordinance, order, rule or regulation by Vendor or Vendor's officers, employees, agents, or by anyone claiming by, through or under Vendor; and/or (e) any actions taken by the Vendor while at the HOPE Village Farmers Market. Vendor further covenants and agrees that, if any action, suit or proceeding is brought against any Indemnified Party by reason of any of the foregoing, Vendor will, at Vendor's sole cost and expense, defend the Indemnified Parties in any such action, suit or proceeding.

    VENDOR WAIVER: Vendor assumes full liability and risk and waives and releases any claims Vendor may have against HOPE Village Revitalization and/or HOPE Village Revitalization's officers, directors, agents, or employees for loss, damage or injury to person or property sustained by Vendor or Vendor's officers, agents, employees, guests, invitees or anyone claiming by, through or under Vendor resulting from any cause whatsoever other than gross negligence of HOPE Village Revitalization or HOPE Village Revitalization's officers, directors and/or employees.

    LIABILITY INSURANCE: Each Vendor is strongly encouraged to obtain liability insurance covering its activities at the HOPE Village Farmers Market, in amounts of $500,000 per person and per occurrence, naming HOPE Village Revitalization as an additional insured. * For a low cost insurance option, as well as member discounts, educational programs, and networking across farmers market, we encourage all vendors to join the Michigan Farmers Market Association.   • GRANT OF LICENSE: Vendor grants full permission perpetual and worldwide license to Cool Cities Park, HOPE Village Revitalization, the HOPE Village, and any affiliates doing business as the HOPE Village Farmers Market to use all names, photographs, videotapes or quotations in accounts and promotions in any medium.

    I certify that I have read this application for the HOPE Village Farmers Market and the accompanying information in its entirety. I hereby agree that if my application is accepted for participation, I will abide by all Rules, Regulations, and Requirements. I understand that failure to do so will result in disqualification from participation in the program. Due to the nature of this program, it is further understood that the booth fees are non-refundable after acceptance, even if my company drops out before the program begins.
