CAT ADOPTION APPLICATION IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Dear potential adopter,

Thank you for considering adopting one of our rescue animals. Please take the time to read the below information in full before answering all questions as open and honestly as possible to ensure we match our rescue animals to the correct home.

At Help a Stray Cat, our mission is to rescue cats from Turkey, find them homes in the UK, Europe and the US, and to provide them with a safe and loving environment. We are dedicated to finding the perfect home for each cat, and take each adoption seriously. We have an adoption form, a home check and an adoption fee to ensure that cats are placed in the right homes. We also provide travel services for cats to their new homes, however the process can take up to 4 months.

When you adopt one of our cats, you can be sure they have received; Worming & Flea treatments, Vaccinations, Microchip and Neutering as part of the adoption fee. If you are interested in adopting with us, please fill out an Adoption Form.

Please note that there's a £250 adoption fee for all of our cats. We're a small rescue and we rely on donations to bring our rescue cats to the UK. It's a costly process so we appreciate your contribution towards their rescue to give them the lives they deserve.

If an animal is too young or whatever reason cannot be spayed/neutered at the time of adoption, it’s the new pet owner’s responsibility to have the new pet spayed or neutered when old enough. Are you prepared to spay or neuter your pet if not done already?*
Do you consent to us to do a virtual meeting to ensure that the home environment is the best fit for the pet?*
You should be prepared to show us the areas of your house to which the cat will haveaccess, particularly the outdoor area, where it will sleep and where you will feed the pet
