Agreements For Adoption

Each of the following need to be read AND initialed!!!
I am prepared to make a commitment for this cat's lifetime & am financially able to provide both routine and emergency care. This includes but is not limited to food, regular vet care & flea/tick control. *
I will work with my vet to form a regular schedule for wellness visits, inoculations and testing that may be necessary for the health & well being of this cat. *
This cat will NOT be de-clawed but will be an indoor only pet and an important member of my family. *
If, for any reason, I am unable or unwilling to keep this cat, I agree to return him/her to the HSOC. I will not give away or sell this cat nor will I turn him/her outside. I will not surrender this cat to another shelter/rescue or place him/her with any other person without the express permission of the HSOC. *
I understand and agree that the HSOC makes no guarantees about this cat's behavior or temperament and is not responsible for any damages/injuries caused by this cat.

I agree that this cat is adopted "as is" with no guarantee whether implied or expressed. Any health condition unknown by the HSOC is not the responsibility of the HSOC. *
I give the HSOC permission to call/visit my home with reasonable notice to ensure that this cat is being properly cared for. *
I understand that the adoption fee is non-refundable after 2 weeks. If the adoption does not work out within 2 weeks, I will return this cat to the HSOC upon which I will receive a full refund. If longer than 2 weeks is needed to assess the success of the adoption, I will call the HSOC to make arrangements in a timely manner. *
