JFGA Allocations Outcomes: 

• A broad and diversified array of Jewish communal education and experiences that allow Jews and their loved ones to fulfill their Jewish identity and leads to increased involvement in Jewish life and activities
• Equitably distributed physical and online spaces that promote engagement in Jewish experiences
• A Jewish community where organizations and its members welcome and embrace all Jews and their loved ones
• Increased knowledge, understanding, and exposure to Israel and the Israeli community
• Increased knowledge and understanding of the global Jewish community
• Increased awareness of organizations that serve vulnerable populations in global Jewish communities
• Increased awareness and utilization of programs and services
• Optimal health and wellbeing, ability to live as independently as possible and optimal quality of life for Atlanta’s Jewish community
• Increased commitment to, participation in and level of engagement in volunteer service and philanthropy by Atlanta’s Jews

The Allocations Committees of the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta invite you to apply for an additional one-time only funding opportunity. This grant is for a special project which is in addition to any resources you currently receive through the Allocations process and will be considered separate from our regular allocations process.

Each grant portfolio is looking to fund 1-2 projects for a total between $10,000-$50,000 which address one or more of the following themes:

• Interfaith and/or Diversity
• Mental Health
• Jewish Literacy
• Antisemitism
• Global Jewish Peoplehood

Proposals from our Core Partners must be for projects in collaboration with another local or overseas organization.

JumpSpark Outcomes: 

• Jewish teens in Atlanta will increase and deepen their level of engagement in the Jewish community.

• More Atlanta teens will participate in high-quality Israel program experiences that deepen their understanding of Israel and strengthen their ability to address antisemitism and anti-Israel attitudes.

• Jewish teen professionals will expand their network of colleagues and build meaningful connections in ways that help them strengthen the quality and diversity of teen programming.

• Parents of Jewish teens will be better able to support their teens and connect them with meaningful and relevant engagement in the Jewish community.

• Community leaders and parents will demonstrate increased support for Jewish teen engagement and recognize teen engagement as an important part of an intellectually, socially, and spiritually thriving Jewish community in Atlanta.

JumpSpark's Target Audiences:

• High school and post b'nai mitzvah middle school teens from Jewish/interfaith households, particularly those who have been un- or under-engaged in their Jewish communities​
• Parents and guardians of Jewish/interfaith teens​
• Jewish professionals and lay leaders working with Jewish/interfaith teens
