GROOMING AGREEMENT
In choosing to leave your dogs at this facility, you are to understand that the dogs will be handled in a professional manner at the discretion of the operator, Devonta Daniels, for the safety of your dogs. Your dogs will be housed in a climate controlled indoor kennel. Your dogs will be walked or turned out of the kennel twice a day for exercise and kennel cleaning. During turn out time, they will be supervised in a classroom area, free to run around for play and exercise. While this gives your dog more freedom than they would get at some facilities, it also increases the possibility for accidents to happen. Any dog taken from the familiar surroundings of its own home is somewhat unpredictable in its behavior and the dog’s owner must realize this and waive liability of the facility operator in the event that an accident should occur.
By signing this grooming agreement, the owner of the dog(s) is agreeing to waive DeSoto High School or any students of DeSoto FFA Pup andWash liable for any accidents.
Difficult Dogs
Dogs that show a tendency to bite or jump around may be muzzled or attached to a grooming arm for their safety as well as the instructor and students. Dogs that are uncontrollable will be sent home and charged for the amount of grooming that has been accomplished. It is not fair or acceptable to force your pet to accept the grooming session.
Safety
Safety comes first for everyone during the grooming process, people as well as pets. You must inform instructor prior to grooming if your pet has bitten someone or has aggressive tendencies. Owners will be held liable for any bites or any property damage caused by their pets. We will stop the grooming process if we feel your pet's behavior is compromising his safety and/or students and instructor.
Please Note:
All grooming services are performed by students in our high school Pet Grooming Program. This is a valuable educational experience that allows students to develop hands-on skills in a real-world setting, under the close supervision of experienced instructors.
As our students are still in the learning phase, the results may not always reflect professional-level grooming. However, we assure you that each student is dedicated to treating your pet with care, patience, and respect throughout the grooming process.
We truly appreciate your continued support and understanding as our students build their confidence and improve their techniques. By allowing your pet to be part of their learning journey, you're helping shape the future of these aspiring groomers.
Cancellations
If you cannot keep your appointment, please call us 24 hours in advance so we may fill your spot.
By signing this agreement, the owner further indicates that the dog(s) left at this facility are up-to-date on regularly recognized vaccinations and on heart worm and intestinal worm prevention. Flea and tick control is the responsibility of the owner. If one of your dogs should become sick or injured, the owner will pay in full for any veterinarian bills that would be necessary to correct the illness or injury. We will contact you, if possible, should there be a medical problem of any sort.
Please bring a copy of your dog updated shot records! (Service will not be completed if missing these important documents)
A Method to pay will be sent to you via email. You must pay at the time of pick up.
