Guidelines for Pick-Ups (PLEASE READ BEFORE SIGNING):
1. Your donation form will be deemed "complete" when your form and pictures are BOTH submitted. Your form is deemed incomplete if your pictures are not submitted.
2. Once your donation form and pictures have been received and reviewed, we will email to confirm whether or not we will be able to complete your pick-up, as well as your pick-up date and time. This email will also include day of information about the pick-up. Please make sure that you have the email on hand for verification or the drivers will not be able to do the pick-up.
3. Please call Kara Richardson at 214-652-9316/email krichardson@ocbfchurch.org or Ed Kyler at 214-652-9320/email ekyler@ocbfchurch.org if you need to cancel or reschedule your pick-up. All pick-ups should be canceled or rescheduled no later than 24 hours of scheduled pick-up date (by 9am the Friday before the pick-up) to have first-priority for your next pick-up day choice.
4. The pick-up driver(s) will call or text when they are on their way to your pick-up location. Please remember that pick-ups are done between 9am and 1pm.
5. A person over the age of 18 must be present for pick-up driver(s) to pick-up items.
6. If the pick-up driver(s) arrives and there is no one home at time of pick-up, the driver(s) will wait 10 minutes. If no one arrives, the pick-up will have to be rescheduled for the next pick-up date.
7. The pick-up driver(s) is not responsible for packing items or breaking down any furniture or large donation items. Because we have a limited window of time to work with, please make sure that your items are ready for pick-up when the driver(s) arrives.
8. Donations in the possession of the pick-up drivers are deemed property of the Turnaround Resale Store and cannot be returned to the previous owner. Please make sure that what you are giving is intended for donation.
9. If there is inclement weather, we will reschedule the pick-up for a Monday or Wednesday after the weather occurrence. If a Pick-Up Day needs to be rescheduled, we will contact you as soon as we can to schedule the new date.
I agree that the items that I am donating are new or gently used and are in good, resellable condition. If the pick-up driver feels like an item cannot be sold in the store or if the pictures do not represent the true condition of an item, the driver has the right to refuse a donation.
