As a parent, you agree to live up to your responsibilities and set a positive example for our youth players and other parents/spectators by following this code of conduct:
1. Maintain enthusiasm and composure at all times. Be a positive role model and maintain good sportsmanship. Positive cheering is encouraged.
2. Demonstrate respect for all participants, including coaches, players and parents, both for our team and the opposing team at all times. Encourage positive post-game behavior, regardless of win/loss.
3. Respect the judgment of the officials, even if you disagree with their calls. Do not argue or complain and refrain from gestures that indicate dissatisfaction.
4. Profanity and/or abusive language will not be tolerated under any circumstance.
5. Refrain from side-line coaching. Players are expected to listen and respond to their coaches, and side-line coaching will only serve to confuse and cause stress to your player and his teammates.
6. If you wish to discuss any issues with player performance, play-time or coaching concerns, do so directly with your player’s coaches. Do not approach coaches immediately after a game.
7. Help your player understand and meet his responsibilities to the coach and the team. This includes arriving on time to practices and games, wearing proper attire/uniform and being mentally and physically prepared to play at all times.
8. Attendance at practice is mandatory and essential for the growth and development of your player and his teammates. Players and/or Parents must notify the coach in advance if they are to miss a practice.
9. Practices this year are going to be CLOSED.
10. During league play every player will get a chance to play. League play is the time for development and practice for tournaments. This is an AAU team and during tournaments playing time is not guaranteed, is not equal and must be earned. We plan to play in a tournament about every other weekend during the season.
11. Have fun!
