Join leading Film & TV Industry Executives at our one day commercial pitch & networking event:

Friday the 27th of October 2023

Grand Hotel Birmingham from 10am until 5.30pm.

Post-event drinks reception from 5.30pm.

If you have either a completed feature length film / a feature length project in development (COMPLETED SCRIPTS ONLY) for SVOD / Cinema or Television (including multi-part TV series), we want to hear from you.

50 teams matching the remit of attending Production Companies/Execs will be selected. If your application is successful, you will receive a notification email with an invoice attached (minus submission fee)

BFTM 2023 Attendee Package £250.00

(Minus £10.00 Non REFUNDABLE submission fee)

One additional team member can attend for £75.00.

Attendance at the ‘Match Fit – Perfect Your Pitch’ pre-market event on 23/10, hosted by leading industry professionals from MySmash Media.

Bespoke support and guidance as you plan your approach to the BFTM2023.

A minimum of 5 one-to-one 5 minute pitch meetings at the historic Grand Hotel Birmingham.

BFTM exclusive goodie bags on arrival.

Coffee/tea/refreshments throughout the day.

Lunch catered for at the Grand Hotel.

Access to Industry vendor and film & TV body attendees

Post BFTM networking drinks reception with Execs from 5.30pm to 7pm.

An exclusive 20% discount on accommodation at The Grand Hotel Birmingham, for the night of the event; code on request.

AND other perks to be revealed closer to the time.

Payments to be finalised by Sunday 7th October 2023.

THE LIST OF ATTENDING EXECS AND VENDORS WILL BE UPDATED REGULARLY

Please regularly check the website and social media for updates and specific dates, times and venues.

The BFTM will not pass your personal information on to third parties without your permission for any purpose.

Entry into the BFTM Delegate Handbook, to be given to attending Industry representatives, will include name, company website and BFTM listed project details only.

The Birmingham Film & Television Market and its employees value creative property and have signed NDA protection documents pertaining to any and all projects selected for the BFTM.

Abuse or bullying behaviour towards BFTM and its guests/affiliates will result in forfeiture of attendance (current and future) and all monies paid.

Be aware that the £10 submission processing fee is NON REFUNDABLE but will be deducted from BFTM23 package fee for successful delegates.

After successfully processing this submission form, you will receive an email from us acknowledging that we have received your application. This stipulates that you are in the run for one of 50 places to attend Birmingham Film & TV Market 2023.

Please note, this does not automatically mean that your application has been successful. All applicants will be advised of their application status once submissions close, and no earlier than 31.08.2023.

The submission fee (£5.00 EARLY BIRD/ £10.00 REGULAR DEADLINE) is non-refundable.

There are three status categories that your application may be assigned. 'Successful' means you have been selected to attend the Market Day. 'Unsuccessful' means that you have not been selected to attend the Market Day. 'Reserves' means that your application has come close to being successful, and you may be offered a place if one of our 50 top applicants drop out. You will be notified of such development no later than 7th October 2023.

Successful applications will be subject to the attendance fee of £250.00 (minus the submission fee which will be deducted from the total).

You can bring one additional team member, to join you on your meetings - they will NOT be assigned separate meetings. They will be subject to the additional fee of £75.00 and will be entitled to all the day perks all other delegates receive, including entry to the 'Match Fit - Perfect Your Pitch with SMASH' event on 23.10.2023.

The Birmingham Film & TV Market Limited is working very closely with the attending commissioners and distributors to achieve maximum compatibility between creatives and executives. A successful deal that has resulted from the Market Day, will entitle the BFTM to EP credit and 1% of the budget, which will be recovered from the commissioning body, and not the creative team. The attendance fee of £250.00 will be deducted from that 1%.
