Acceptance of material into the Cherokee National Collection depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, relevance to Cherokee history and culture. Any information you can provide about how your item or materials connect to Cherokee history and culture will help inform our decision-making.

Preferred Appointment
The research rooms at the Cherokee National Research Center are open Tuesday - Saturday, 10am to 4pm CST. Please select a day that you'd prefer to visit. We will do our best to accommodate your preferred day, but our space is limited and rooms may be booked already. A staff member will contact you to finalize scheduling.
