  • Suspension Appeals Applications for

    SUMMER/FALL 2025 will be accepted from:

    April 1, 2025 through August 1, 2025.

  • THIS SUSPENSION APPEALS PROCESS IS FOR LONE STAR COLLEGE-MONTGOMERY STUDENTS ONLY

    Please be advised: This appeal is for LSC-Montgomery and Conroe Center students only.

    Non LSC-Montgomery students will have their appeal rejected.

    LSC-Montgomery and/or Conroe Center students are those who have taken at least 50 percent of their credit hours at LSC-Montgomery or Conroe Center. 

    Students who are from other campuses need to contact their campus for Academic Suspension Appeals. Additionally, this Academic Suspension Appeal does not pertain to anything regarding Financial Aid. Students that are not meeting Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress must follow the Financial Aid Appeal process. Financial Aid questions can be directed to the Financial Aid Office or the Contact Center at 281-290-2700.

    Please do not complete this form if you are on Academic Warning or Probation. If you are uncertain about your status, visit the Counseling Probation and Suspension website for additional information.

  • Appeal Instructions:

    • Answer all questions and upload all necessary documents.
    • Attach a short essay stating why you believe the committee should consider your appeal.
    • The essay should include your plan for improving your chances of success as well as documentation for poor past performances (ex. medical or legal) if appropriate. 
    • Current copy of unofficial transcript. 
    • If you are currently enrolled in classes and are on SUSPENSION, print Request for Grades info on this page. Have it completed by your instructor(s) FIRST, then return and complete this application.

    All decisions will be sent to your my.lonestar.edu email address. 

  • Instructions for getting your Request for Grades

    If you are currently enrolled in classes, no less than half-way through the course(s) and grades have not been posted, you must request your grades from your instructor(s) before submitting your appeal. 

    Download the Request for Grades Form and have your instructors complete the form, date and sign. Please attach the signed and completed Request for Grades Form below.

  • Instructions for Obtaining your Unofficial Transcript:

    Log in to your My Lone Star Account and follow these steps:

    • Go to My Lone Star home page
    • Click on Student tab at top of page
    • Click on Academic Records
    • Click on View Unofficial Transcript
    • For Report Type Select "CR Unofficial Transcript"
    • Click on Submit under View Report
    • Donwload File and Save to where you can find it
