Our prenatal and breastfeeding classes at Highland Community Hospital are here to prepare you for your special delivery. In class, you will learn about steps to take to have a healthy pregnancy and what you can expect with each trimester. We will discuss a variety of topics including signs and symptoms to report to your provider, what to expect during labor and delivery, pain management options and infant feeding plans.
This class also includes a tour of the HCH birthing facilities.
Our Breastfeeding Class will educate you about the benefits of breastfeeding for both mother and baby, the nutritional value of breastmilk, latching, newborn feeding patterns and how to know your baby is feeding well.
Classes will be held Tuesday evenings at 6:00 pm in the
Board Room at Highland Community Hospital.
