Masa l'Polin: The Journey to Poland

Each participant is responsible for booking their own flight to and from Poland. All booking will be done with guidance from Habonim Dror North America. We will email you recommended flights. 

Arrival time: We will be meeting at the Krakow Airport on 05/16/2023 at 1:00pm local time. All arriving flights will need to arrive by 12:30pm at the latest.

Departure: We will finish the journey at the Warsaw Airport on 05/22/2023 at 5:30pm. All outgoing departing flights should be booked no earlier than 8:30pm local time. PLEASE NOTE: if you are returning to North America that night and not planning to extend in Europe, there are very limited flight options. Participants may choose to extend another night but will be responsible for their own accomodations. 

 

It is each participant’s obligation to pass on any relevant information that may help guarantee the security and safety of participants. The journey is highly demanding on the participant, physically and emotionally, and we want to ensure that all participants are prepared to undertake long days with difficult content.

Journey days are long, and often contain tours on foot for several hours with limited breaks. Please advise us if you have any medical conditions that will effect your participation.

 

 

COST AND CANCELLATION FEES

The Journey cost is 2500$USD, not including the cost of flights.

The price includes: guides, buses, site entrance, accommodations in hotels, breakfast, lunch, dinner, flowers for ceremonies, travel insurance, mineral water, cell phones for emergencies and managing the group, and tips for the bus drivers and Poland escorts.

Trip cost is based on double occupancy rooms. If you wish to have a single room, there is an additional cost of 280$. 

Half of the trip cost is due upon registration. The second half is due by March 30th.

In the event that you cancel your participation, it must occur by February 28th for no cancellation fee to be charged.

For cancellations after February 28th and up to 46 business days of the trip (for reasons of wanting to cancel or at the decision of the coordinators), the participant will be charged a cancellation fee of $150 USD.

After 45 business days until two weeks from the trip, the cancellation fee will be $500 USD.

Between two weeks to one week before the trip, the cancellation fee will be $1024.  

One week from the trip, there will be no option to cancel with a refund. 

Please note: any costs associated with flight cancellations are the responsibility of the individual.
