    Collaborative Funding Pilot Grant Application

  • United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties is excited to announce a Collaborative Funding Pilot Grant for fiscal year 2023-2024. This grant is designed to encourage collaborative efforts and streamlined approaches. This pilot grant will be offered in addition to our normal grant cycle.

Proposals for this one-year grant will be accepted beginning on February 1, 2023 and ending on March 24, 2023 at 11:59 PM. Grants may be renewable beyond one year contingent upon alignment with United Way’s priorities and ability to meet desired outcomes.

In 2023, all requests must align to Bold Goals 2030 as well as at least one strategy and tactic and 2-3 shared measurements within the Bold Goal for which you are applying. The collaborate grant applications must include multiple organizations.

Be creative! We are looking for innovative solutions to help dissolve problems!

    • Please review the Bold Goals, Strategies and Tactics found here and identify the Bold Goal, strategies, and tactics this program aligns with.

Please select one Bold Goal, but you may choose multiple strategies and tactics.

    • Please review the Shared Measurements that have been identified for each Bold Goal area found here.

Please select 2-3 of the shared measurements related to the Strategies this program align with. At least one should be an outcome (e.g. % change in...) as opposed to selecting all outputs (e.g. # of people served).

    • Based on the measurements you selected, please provide quantitative goals for the next 12 months.

For example, if you selected "% of caregivers who report who change in knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors" your goal might be: of the total number served, 75% will report a change in knowledge. Or, if you selected "# of community trainings to destigmatize mental health" your goal might be: conduct four trainings on a quarterly schedule with attendance of at least 25 at each training.
