Session Learning Outcomes
These are the promises you are making to the attendees. State three action items or learning outcomes participants will take away from the session. Learning outcomes are statements that specify what attendees will know or be able to do as a result of attending the session. Outcomes are usually expressed as knowledge or skills.
Presenters may consider providing information that achieves the how to, when developing the session. Concrete action verbs such as the following examples may be helpful when writing outcomes: analyze, apply, articulate, assess, create, discuss, define, demonstrate, describe, develop, differentiate, examine, identify, list, prioritize, and recognize.
