PROJECT: Removing invasive plants with Blue Ridge PRISM
Purpose: We will start the morning identifying common invasive plants in the preserve that can be managed during the winter months. During the workday, volunteers will spend time managing invasive plants and improving the quality of habitat for wildlife.
Note: Wear sturdy shoes, long pants, and long sleeves. Bring water. Participants will be hand pulling and using sharp tools. Personal protective equipment will be provided. If you have your own work gloves and/or eye protection, please bring them.
