I hereby authorize the repair work to be done along with the necessary materials and hereby grant you/your employees’ permission to operate the vehicle herein described on streets, highways, or elsewhere for the purpose of testing/inspecting. An express mechanics lien is hereby acknowledged on the above vehicle to secure the amounts of parts.
Electronic components/parts and windshields in your vehicle may require calibration or programming. This means adjusting, aligning, and dialing in the advanced components of the ADAS systems placed throughout your vehicle. These calibrations can run anywhere from $500-$4500. These are operations required by the manufacturer and vary widely from vehicle to vehicle. These charges will be added to your estimate when needed. We do not always know in advance what is required. As the customer/vehicle owner, you will be responsible for these charges if insurance does not pay.
Stan's Body Shop is not responsible for aftermarket or aged parts, including window tint when doing repairs.
Stan's Body Shop is not responsible for the availability of parts, or delays in part shipments beyond their control. Once we order parts, if you cancel your appointment, a 30% restocking fee will be charged.
I also understand and approve of the use of aftermarket/recycled (LKQ) and/or reconditioned parts as per my insurance company guidelines and or my policy.
If I choose to use O.E.M parts, I may be responsible for the difference in price between the aftermarket and O.E.M. parts due to insurance guidelines and/or your policy
If the vehicle is returned to the customer before authorized repairs are performed, a diagnostic fee, handling charge, reassembly labor, daily storage and 30% parts restocking fee will be due prior to the vehicle being released.
