Art in the Park 2023 Prizes & Awards Totaling $3,500.00

Best of Show (Fine Arts): $1,500.00 and will be showcased in the 2024 Art in the Park with complimentary admission.

1st Place: $400.00 & Ribbon - Each Category

2nd Place: $300.00 & Ribbon - Each Category

Merit Award: $200.00 & Ribbon - Each Category

Honorable Mention: $100.00 & Ribbon - Each Category

Art in the Park Rules & Regulations

1. Art in the Park maintains the right to review all displays and inspect all art work to ensure that they are in accordance with festival rules, and that the artwork is as represented by the application. The committee reserves the right to remove any work exhibited during the show for non- compliance of Rules and Regulations.

2. ONLY artists and crafters displaying their own ORIGINAL work may participate.

3. No commercial type items allowed: Not limited to T-shirts, posters, mass produced goods, no edibles, and other items not created solely by the artist are prohibited.

4. No Alcoholic Beverages allowed on the property.

5. All exhibitors need to check in at the registration tent prior to set-up. Once exhibitor location is provided, unload your vehicle, move vehicles to assigned parking area immediately, then return to set up your display. Parking and loading space is limited.

6. All tents must be "Fire Retardant" w/ manufacturing tag and provide own means of display racks, tables, chairs, etc., strong enough to withstand crowds, wind, and weather. Exhibit area is located outside. Most 10x10 exhibit sites are on grass or concrete. Please bring additional means for securing tents for all weather conditions. Securing stakes must be limited to 2ft long. Confine display to 10'x10 space, or purchase additional space.

7. Man booth during all show hours. Artist or Crafter must be present during all show hours.

8. Pre-Setup starts on Friday, May 5th, 11:00am - 7pm and is highly recommended! Additional set up time is Saturday morning from 6am - 9am.

9. Exhibitors must be set up by 9:00am Saturday and exhibit removed by 6pm Sunday.

10. Upon acceptance into the show you will receive a welcome letter that will include day of registration instructions. Exhibitor is committed to show both days - Saturday & Sunday.

11. We regret no refunds will be given for non-appearance, weather, cancellation, and removal from show for non-compliance.

12. Each exhibitor is responsible for collecting and reporting 6.5% sales tax to the State of Florida.

13. Judging will take place Saturday beginning at 10:30am. Awards and ribbons will be presented after all the judging has been completed.

14. The City of Ormond Beach, Ormond Beach Memorial Art Museum, volunteers, and sponsors assume no liability for lost, stolen, or damaged articles. Any exhibit items, artwork, racks, tables, etc., left in the park overnight, is at your own risk. Security will be on hand day & night.

15. Art in the Park will set entry limits to participating exhibitors. These limits will help maintain a quality Arts & Crafts show with a variety of mediums. These limits are as follows: 50% Fine Artists, 50% Crafters and with 20% of total show to Jewelry exhibitors. Once limits are reached, a waiting list will be made for each category.

LOADING, UNLOADING & PARKING INSTRUCTIONS:

Daily Exhibitor parking for Saturday and Sunday is in Fortunato Park, 2 John Anderson Dr., located on the northeast corner of the Granada Bridge.

This will allow more patrons at the main event parking area at Rockefeller Gardens/The Casements. Disabled parking with permit is located in the main event parking lot. All exhibitors need to check in at the registration tent prior to set-up. Once exhibitor location is provided, unload your vehicle, move vehicles to assigned parking area immediately, then return to set up your display. Parking and loading space is limited. Staff will be on hand to assist you if you should have any questions. No Overnight Parking on City property or in parks.

RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY, INDEMNITY AGREEMENT, PHOTO RELEASE AND AGREEMENT TO ABIDE BY ALL ART IN THE PARK RULES & REGULATIONS PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING

AGAINST THE RELEASED PARTIES BEING HEREBY EXPRESSLY AND IRREVOCABLY RELEASED AND WAIVED REGARDLESS OF THE CAUSE.

The undersigned hereby requests that he or she be allowed to participate in the Art in the Park presented by the City of Ormond Beach and the Ormond Beach Memorial Art Museum and Gardens.

In consideration of my participation in the Art in the Park (the "Event") I, each of the undersigned, expressly understand, acknowledge and agree to the following:

I expressly understand, agree and acknowledge that participation in the Event could result in bodily injury, death, and/or property damage. I hereby assume full responsibility for any risk of bodily injury, death, and/or property damage due to the negligence of the Ormond Beach Memorial Art Museum and Gardens, and the City of Ormond Beach including, but not limited to, its and/or their respective departments, representatives, affiliates, officials, agents, officers, employees, sponsors, specialists, contractors, and volunteers (the "Released Parties" Further, I expressly agree not to make any claim, suit, action, or other demand for damages against the Released Parties for any bodily injury, death, or property damage connected to or resulting, in whole or part, from the negligence of the Released Parties whether occurring before or after the date this Release and Waiver of Liability is signed; ANY AND ALL SUCH CLAIMS, SUITS, ACTIONS, AND DEMANDS

Further, I agree to hold harmless and fully indemnify and defend the Released Parties from any and all causes of action, claims, damages, costs including but not limited to attorney's fees and costs, which may arise from or be connected to my participation in the Event, even if the damages, injuries, or death are caused by the negligence of the Released Parties. I also give the Released Parties permission to use/take a photograph of me for the use of publicity of the Event without compensation, I hereby waive any claim that may arise or be connected to the use/taking of said photograph.

The foregoing Release and Waiver of Liability, Indemnity Agreement, Photo Release, and Art in the Park Rules and Regulations are intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by law. In the event any part thereof is held to be invalid, that part of the Release and Waiver of Liability, Indemnity Agreement, Photo Release, and Art in the Park Rules and Regulations which is not invalid, shall remain in full force and effect.

I am competent, of sound mind, and freely, voluntarily, and knowingly signed my name hereto after having read the Release and Waiver of Liability, Indemnity Agreement, Photo Release and Art in the Park Rules and Regulations. No oral representations, statements, or inducements have been made. I agree to abide by all Art in the Park Rules and Regulations and all City of Ormond Beach ordinances.
