JOIN THE WBENC NETWORK IN CONTRIBUTING TO THE
COMFORT AND EDUCATION OF CHILDREN
WBENC is partnering with WBENC-Certified WBE and 2022 WBENCPitch Finalist, Nerdbugs, to spread love and support to children and families facing health diagnoses and treatments! This Community Impact Initiative is part of our 2023 WBENC National Conference activation.
Now, The ENTIRE WBENC network has the opportunity to contribute to this meaningful Community Impact Initiative!
Nerdbugs were created and inspired by CEO, WBE and Physician, Dr. Ronak Mehta, combining her passion for medicine and her love for plush toys. The novelty line boasts handcrafted quality plush organs, intended to inform and educate kids and adults in science, and be a comforting gift for children going through cancer treatments and organ transplants. Nerdbugs are quickly expanding in hospitals and as gifts throughout the country.
We all know someone or have been personally touched by children facing illnesses and health challenges, and hospitals are critical to their care and recovery. These amazing Nerdbugs plushies will become another powerful aspect to their comfort and care. This initiative is also personal to our incredible President & CEO, Pamela Prince Eason, whose father faced lung cancer and was cared for by Tennessee hospitals and staff.
WBENC is coordinating a community impact campaign to donate Nerdbug plushies to 2 children's hospitals in Tennessee: Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt and Ballad Health/Niswonger Children's Hospital.
To contribute, simply select a package through the form below! WBENC will also be recognizing all contributors on our website.
WBENC thanks you for all you do for women-owned businesses and your communities, and for contributing to this Community Impact Campaign that will touch thousands of Tennessee children and families, and beyond.
