Tahiti Fête of San Jose Vendor Application

After waiting for several years, due mostly to the Covid virus, I am so happy to announce our 26th Tahiti Fête of San Jose. It will take place on June 30 to July 3, 2023, at the very beautiful and historic San Jose Civic Auditorium.

Space is very limited. Applications will be determined on several factors. Too many duplications or items not appropriate to a Polynesian event will be screened. We wish for a variety of vendors and as a result, only one booth or one double booth per vendor will be allowed. The deadline is March 11, 2023. After this date, it will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

For vendor spaces, an 8’ long table and two chairs per single table will be furnished and an extra 6’ table for a double space. If you bring your own tables and chairs, a discount will be offered. Equipment, such as racks (for muumuus, teeshirts, etc.) will be counted as an extra table if it takes up additional space other than the booth table space. You may set up extra racks behind your booth table, within your space. Space is approximately 8’ wide x 7’ deep.

Set-up for the Event Center will be on Thursday, June 29th after 12:00 pm when the tables are all in place and Saturday morning at 7:00 am. Break-down will be on Monday, July 3rd during the Awards Ceremonies. All vendors must be cleared out by the time the Fete is over on July 3rd.

We ask if each vendor would please donate a “ho’okupu” or gift towards our door prizes or for our volunteer gathering. Whatever you can offer would be greatly appreciated. We will visit the booths on Saturday & Sunday, or you can bring it to the Tahiti Fête teeshirt booth along with your business card.

Our sponsor hotel – Downtown Marriott San Jose is offering a special rate of $149 per room. Parking at the hotel is a bit expensive but there are many cheaper public parking sites in walking distance. Rooms sell out quickly. Please confirm your reservations ASAP.
