STEP 3: PROOF OF PERFORMANCE
The dog must have a proven performance history through one of the following pathways outlined in ASSA WSDR Rules 3.4

Own Merit

If you selected 'by own merit', the dog must have a history of racing at ASSA races for a minimum of one season, which must be supported with a signed certificate from ASSA. The minimum level of title certification accepted includes; Sled Dog (SD), Lead Dog (LD), or Bikejor Dog (BD). ASSA WSDR Rules 3.4.2

STEP 4: PROOF OF SLED DOG TYPE
The dog must fit the 'type' of a purpose bred sled dog and should be a mix of at least 50% of the 'Primary Breeds' outlined in the ASSA WSDR Rules 3.5. Primary Breeds include: Alaskan Husky, Siberian Husky, Alaskan Malamute, German Shorthaired Pointer, Pointer, and Greyhound. To prove your dog, one or more of the following methods may be used.
