Bendigo Basketball Beginner Referee Course

Our Beginner Referee Course is now 100% online and self-paced, allowing new referees to complete the course at a time that suits them. Please note that the minimum age to become a referee is 14 years old. How to Get Started: please complete the registration form to book your place in the Bendigo Basketball referee program. Registrations are submitted to Basketball Victoria every Friday at 4:00 pm. Once your registration has been submitted, you should receive an email with information about accessing the online course. Please allow up to two weeks from the date you register to receive these details. Bendigo Basketball Information Session: Before beginning any on-court training, all new referees will be invited to attend an information session about the Bendigo Basketball Technical Officials (TOC) Program. This session will explain: How the Bendigo Basketball referee program operates, What to expect from your on-court training, Referee development and progression, Rostering and availability, Uniform and equipment requirements & Where to go for support and assistance. Information sessions will be held once each month, with email invitations sent to registered participants advising the date, time and location.
