Classes are held at 14 Cedar Street, ground floor level, on Wednesdays 4/5, 4/12, and 4/26 from 2 - 4 PM. Please pay on day one for all 3 classes. It's $60 with your own supplies, and $75 if you wish me to supply them for all 3 classes of two hours in length each, totaling six hours of fun!

Supplies:

Acrylic paint, brushes, canvases or board for a sign, sketch book and paper, pencils and coffee if you'd like! Please let me know if you'll attend in person or zoom. Bring your imagination and ideas. TY!

You don't have to be! Hope that you will come have fun with us, whether you are Swedish or not. Scandinavian folk art is fun and colorful. You can make it perfect or not, it's up to you. We will enjoy the downstairs space which is full of light and smells like coffee. I will teach you about the origin of "kurbits" (Swedish folk art with scroll like shapes) and how to incorporate it into your own art using stencils, or painting free hand. I meet  you where you are in your art practice whether you haven't picked up a brush in decades or are a practicing artist. The idea is to have fun making art together in a calm and pretty place. ~ Tina

She has over 20+ years teaching experience and started Start 2 Art in 2015 to spread her joy of making art with others. Her studio is in Amesbury at the Cedar Street Studios, which she shares with many other talented artists. We will meet on the groundfloor common area which has large tables, chairs, restrooms and is easily accessible.
